Current Land Price In Eko Atlantic

-
Image
QUIETLY but steadily, foundations of a new city are emerging off the shores of the famous Bar beach in Lagos, after whitish sand-water mix was churned out of giant underwater pipes from the Atlantic Ocean for what is apparently the most ambitious and comprehensive mixed use development plan to come on stream in the West Africa sub-region in recent times. Eko Atlantic City is not a common place for plots — it’s a haven for the super rich and corporate bigwigs. Current land prices in this exclusive enclave are now U$1,800 per square metre for inner city plots while plots located along the road and waterfront are significantly higher at US$2,500 / sq. m and US$3,000 / sq. m respectively The project known as Eko Atlantic City stretches further by the day into the Atlantic Ocean, adjacent to Victoria Island in Lagos, under Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) initiative between the Lagos State Government and a private concern Messrs South Energyx Nigeria Limited, developers and city pl...

Awwww........ Award winning producer ,Cobhams who was born blind opened up to Punch about accepting who is is, but says he would love to see his wife's face He said....... "I am not sure I want to turn back the hands of time for anything, not even for the gift of sight.I think I have overcome the desire for sight. I know it is a beautiful thing and it is absolutely necessary. Life is interesting and you do not know what it is going to throw at you, and for me, I am grateful for the gift of life. I enjoy my life and I don't think I sit and imagine what my life would be like if I could see. Quite honestly, I want to see for stupid reasons. I want to see because I want to learn how to play golf. I am an optimist by nature and I don't think I walk around saying I want to see. One other reason I would really love to have sight is to see my wife's face but I have the privilege of touching it which is much better than seeing it." On his wife…he...

Trump's foul mood leads him deeper into darkness

-
Image
President Donald Trump is hardly acting like a very stable genius. Instead, his unleashed fury, fact-bending rants and persecution complex are conjuring an image of someone seeing his presidency slipping through his hands. While current political conditions seem unlikely to lead to his ouster from office, Trump appears increasingly powerless to save himself from the historical scar of impeachment. He has crushed just about every norm since descending his golden escalator to launch his 2016 presidential campaign. Now he's reinventing how presidents deal with an existential scandal. And it seems to be leading him deeper into the darkness. After a day of poor media reviews for his unrestrained tirades on Wednesday, Trump became even angrier on Thursday -- calling on Communist China to open an investigation into Joe Biden -- a potential 2020 general election opponent,  "China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is ju...
